What To Bring:
To enjoy Seward fishing is to be prepared for all weather conditions. Resurrection Bay stays cool to cold throughout the year with a fair amount of rainfall.
We recommend you bring:
Inexpensive rain suits and rubber boots can be purchased here in Seward for approximately $40.
We will clean and package your catch in vacuum sealed bags. It will then be frozen and ready for transportation back home. Direct shipping available as well, ask for more details.
Sport Fish Run Time
When sport fishing Alaska, timing and location are everything. You must be where and when the fish are to catch them, and our Pacific salmon are often where and when you are not! We can help you narrow the odds, though we offer no guarantee. Rockfish and halibut are just a few of the monsters you may due battle with in and around the Seward waters.
Sport Fishing Season
This table indicates when sport fish are present (little fish) or at their peak availability (larger fish) in salt water of the Kenai Peninsula, except for that area adjacent to Whittier. Communities include Kenai, Soldotna, Homer, Seward, Anchor River, Nikiski, and Hope.
This table indicates the presence of fish in the area, but not the legal fishing season.
Some areas may be closed, so be sure to check a current regulation summary before planning your trip.
